Diana 27 replacement spring??

I just tore open my newly acquired RWS 27 from 1981 to see internal condition as it relates to slow velocity. Shooting in the mid 400s in 177. Looks to have been lubed inside, and has a piston seal that looks perfect. The spring however has many bends in it. Does anyone sell the stock spring, as I think that would be best. From the searches the best JM sounds like the Merlin XL, or maybe the E3650. I really wanted to stay with .110 wire for a stock feel, and smooth easy cocking. Max power not important, but I felt it should shoot a bit faster than my other light powered plinkers; perhaps 600-625fps. Any advice appreciated.
