He was a mutual friend of ours and some of you knew him . He lived in Carmel, CA, had died recently recently. We had a great adventure together, trying to get a HW 55 out of Nuremberg to Ron after the DP/DKL ban. Successfully I might add. Ron was a most interesting and very gentlemanly person, a true craftsman. He posted here but not as often as some.
I first meet him when I posted a picture of one of my airguns lying on an oriental rug. He emailed and only wanted to know where I had gotten the rug !!! An old beaten up Heriz. Keen eye!
I will miss his gentle voice over the phone. I hope his guns find a good home, it would have been his wish.
