It could possibly be newer than Aug of 1992.
There were at least two versions of the "old style" trigger.
The first version was subject to recall, due to the potential for firing when the safety was taken off.
Those recalled guns, were "fixed" and all following production incorporated the "fix", until the trigger group was changed to the cross bolt safety.
My questions are primarily about the time frame that the manual warning without an address was added, and when they went from "Sheridan Products", to "Benjamin Sheridan".
Also, there does not seem to be a very wide window, that the Serial numbers started with the letter S or W. I'm wondering if anybody knows when that change happened.
