did you try any of the suggestions made to you on the GTA? Two pellets should come out about as easily as one. My bet is one of the two seals was holding just enough to push the pellets up bore. Not uncommon, even in firearms. Shoot one, then another, what? No holes? I've seen pistol barrels with five or six rounds piggy-backed one into the other because the first shot was a squib.
