The Rennaisance Wax is the product of choice it seems. They also offer a "Pre-Lim" product I am interested in.
This is the wood treatment that is highly recommended by the fellow that is so against the Howard's Feed and Wax.
I have tried the Johnson's Paste Wax and I agree with Mike that is feels a little .....umm.....grippy. I am not sure how to put this into words. To me, it feels almost a little too sticky when your hands perspire. This is a real problem here in the South in the Summer.
That was one of the properties I like so much about the Howard's. It has such a wonderful silky feel.
I am going to order some of the Rennaisance Wax and Pre-Lim today.
