Need to repair a FWB124

I want to replace the piston seal in my FWB124. Can anyone answer this question?

When you remove the spring does the safety need any special handling? I have found photos on the web of FWB 124 repairs, but no reference to the safety at the back of the receiver. Thanks,Don
