Love the way the instructions for my pre-WWII Crosman pumper warn against trying to load .22 rimfire ammo.....

My favorite is the note to never try and melt a stuck pellet out of the barrel. It begs the question: Why would anyone be so stupid to try and hold the barrel with a stuck pellet over a gas flame to melt the pellet? The answer is found in the earliest Crosman Rifle instructions which suggested doing exactly that.
