and to have a covering signed letter accompanying the brochures, you wouldn't get that personal service these days, even asking for your local dealer for any future needs, I know it's networking but I believe they genuinely meant it.

I can guarantee that if somebody did provide the name of a local sporting goods store that a Crosman Arms salesman would drop by to try to set them up as a Crosman dealer. PY Hahn was very big on the attention given by traveling salesmen. It was something he personally did on a regular basis.
