I recently aquired a Heym 101 repeater (minus the magazine); a post from the previous owner is here
http://www.network54.com/Forum/184474/thread/1488607313

There is some rust and minor metal pitting; the stock is actually in pretty decent shape considering the age. Bore is very good. The biggest problem is the fixed part of the barrel locking wedge is missing, but I can replace that. Cocking is a bit crunchy but it shoots pretty well. I will be opening it up for cleaning and photos, and to replace the spring if I can find one the right size.

Performance:
H&N FTT8.6 grs560 fps5.9 ft lbs
CPL7.95825.9
Super HP6.96105.7
GTO WC5.27226.0

The airgun:

5 shots with GTO wadcutters at 5 meters; had to hold the barrel closed since part of the locking wedge is missing. A dime covers the group.

More to come.

Why do you want the serial number?

Garvin,

I'm curious as to why you want the serial number for the Heym 101. Did the 101 have its own sequence? I assume that the production of these was just in the hundreds.
