Daisy 126 aka ASI Gamo MC-Super

As luck would have it, Rob has given a project to my good friend Jeff who is still busy at work in his garage doing woderful things with air pistols and air rifles.
The Gamo / Daisy is in parts as becomes of these projects that baffle. Rob has said that all the parts are there, and they appear to be so. That is the first piece of good news.
The second piece of good news is that it is in good nick and worthy of resurrection.
Now, does anyone have inside knowledge of the workings of this particular air rifle?
Clear instructions on the workings, perhaps saved copies of rebuild instructions; especially of the piston and what lies inside it happy.gif

The seals can be made and where appropriate, maybe O rings of the correct material can be substituted?

To Leonardo, the last time we communicated on Jeffs' gallery gun and that was a boon to the revival of the old beauty.
Len, I understand that you have some depth of knowledge and experience of these Gamo air rifles? If are able to and can assist it would be appreciated in volumes.
All help appreciated, thanks.

Hi Len. Late to reply as I just got my newer comp back up and running.
Your email details went south with a bunch of others when the older unit crashed (no Back-up)
Can you please send to falconflying at orcon dot co dot nz
Jeff has likely already got that piston apart already lol

Cheers, and thanks for your willing generosity Len.

Hi Danny. The Spring weather has been total rubbish for the most part. It must have been this time of year that the Maori set sight on our beautiful Islands; Land of the long White Cloud. It certainly has been that for far too long - and cold n damp/wet.
Today is an exceptioally nice one and bodes well for Summer.. lovely.

Thank you for the information Len. As I said in my email, Jeff had already embarked on the discovery along with that same information, found on the net. I believe that the info was a copy of your generous assistance to another.
Progress is being made but there has been a hold up with other matters requiring attention.

There is promising news to come.
In the meantime, Jeffs' example is missing the original sights. Is it permissible to request the possibility of purchasing a set from a donor rifle that may be available?.

Waikato was home for this Bedouin back in the '80s- I thought it was "Wrong White Crowd". Worked for Sir Piggy at Huntly, and miss it still-
