| Following are some of the quirky little references to/from the television series. Did anyone else notice any of these? Any others from the radio series or from the book?
* Marvin from the BBC version in the line at the Vogon offices
* Simon Jones as the defense system computer
* Douglas Adams as planet head
* The original music score and (I think) the book model from the TV series as a monolith
* The references to forty two,
* The alarm clock from the trailer
