We wouldn't have even drafted Dipetro #1 overall, there isn't a goalie out there worth the top pick in the NHL draft. Granted if the Islanders would have taken Heatley or Gaborik, they would have either traded them for a bag of magic beans by now or tried to sign them to a 16 year $100 million-dollar-deal that would have thrown out the balance of contracts for years to come.
Counting that the Islanders are expecting Long Island to pay for a new arena for them, it's about time that the New York area lose the Islanders for good.
