If Driedger was going to be passed by Comrie, then obviously getting a shot on the Hitmen is beneficial for him. Considering that he was a 4th round pick, a 3rd round pick (possible high pick) is an upgrade for the Americans; On Calgary's side, they need a goalie and Driedger has potential.
