There's plenty of blame to go around here. Right from the guy behind the bench to practically every jersey out on the ice tonight. They came back and showed some heart but to a man they all played like prima donnas and that's why the best they can do is bronze.
This is a wake up call for hockey canada. For too long the assumption has been that if you have the maple leaf on your jersey you are automatically a league above the competition. The only reason that's been true in the past is because the guys in the maple leafs will do everything and anything to earn the W. They put all ego aside and sell out for the team, to a man, no matter how big the star. For the last few years that hasn't been the case, and the results prove that out.
