its exactly what his boss wants. More and more junior age players are going to the NHL(and half of them then go to the AHL) early, often because of their prowess on the powerplay is a quick asset.

If anything, players need more time to develop their overall games. Like any other league where there are special exceptions for a player jumping up early(Alex Forsberg for AAA, tavares for CHL, etc)...there should more to overcome when it comes to bringing up players at a young age into pros.

These owners dont care. Its all dollar signs. If the player is an early bust, its just another draft pick. Most likely they read NHL tanking for dumbies, and theyll get one the next year just as high....but what this is creating is a really soft generation of skilled but one dimensional players.
