Besides playing hockey in Kent the players have to live and go to school there. The number living in poverty in Kent has climbed from 20some % to 62% in recent years. Number of gangs and crime is also way up. The players are forced to go to one of the sketchier schools in the district and not allowed to go to the nicer ones in the eastern part of Kent where they would fit in instead of stand out.
