Can't that be said of just about every murderer? I haven't read anywhere whether or not the 2 1/2 years he already served will count towards the 8 year sentence or not. Either way, a very light punishment by American standards. Imagine if he can get time served and parole and he only served five years or so...for brutally stabbing someone to death and leaving their body in the woods. Disgraceful sentence.
