Yeah, I could see that happening. Rouse is a better 2-way player than Lockhart. Lockhart had a frustrating season last year on the ice. He is also the captain which could give him an edge too since he obviously brings a lot of leadership value to the team (not the Rouse doesn't offer some too of course). But Rouse only scored 5 goals last season. I don't know how you could keep an overage forward with that little scoring production. I won't make it to training camp at all this year so I have no insight on which of the two is excelling at camp to make the cut. Have you been out?
