If you aren't working on Wednesday enjoy the waves.

I will be up after work. It should hold or maybe get better for us working stiffs.

Erie Wed, ONT fri

September 13 2005, 9:05 AM

Looks to me like Erie Wed and Big O thursday. Another big wednesday, then operation 'Dead Mans point' commando surf mission Thurs. Will try to get photos there unless it sucks. BTW, I meant commando in the literal sense, not surfing without underwear, unless that is your thing...
hang 11, no donut you surf perverts

maybe today too

September 13 2005, 9:30 AM

Been watching the buoys and the clouds and think Erie might go off today a bit too, maybe same as yesterday waist to chest. As soon as wind hits close to 15 knots SW or SSW I'm on it,the more S in the wind the closer I get toward Dunnville to score decent surf.

today blah

September 13 2005, 6:38 PM

Went to the hill at noon, nuthin. Went up to lowbanks, a little something. Went further to Rock and waist high but 3 sec apart and choppy. Got a few little rides, but it was really much like the bridge was on Sat-waist, chop, and close together. Tomorrow (wed) will be better-I hope, and thursday even better in big o I hope.
pray for surf

There was no wind here so I cut the grass and did some online fighting for The Bridge.

The wind what there was on Geneva was weak at best. Today was a get things done away from the water day.

It's all about Erie tomorrow afternoon.

September 14 2005, 12:00 AM

Who isn't surfing? That's a rhetorical question that I don't want anybody to answer. I'll see the familiar faces and I hope the wind is changing and the waves are macking marvelous for everybody. YES!!!!

Lake Erie

September 14 2005, 1:29 PM

Went to Long Point this morning around 10. Waves were choppy but sets were coming in chest high. It was a fun morning all alone out there. Hope everyone gets a chance to surf today or tomorrow.

Cheers

September 14 2005, 3:02 PM

with so much south in the swell it will be bigger and better the closer you get to dunnville than it will be at 51-started to die off as swell switched to mostly S about 2pm, now the hot spot will be rock pt

Those tight packed isobars on the weather forecast...

September 14 2005, 11:27 PM

The tight isobars on the weather forecast in reality today looked more like the tight packed stripes on a Pepe Le PoleCat or like the size of the ripples I was longboarding. A 11 footer can catch those almost invisible waves.

I was riding the Hamlet low storm and seeing ghost waves from the breakwalls. In the Carolina's Ophilia was landing in the water and drownding.

It is so odd that in one place the world is totally calm while elsewhere there is near or total chaos. There is that balence ying and yang, positive and negative thing working.

Even small ripple waves in swim trunks are better than an ice covered lake.
