The sun was glaringly out that day!

The film captured this rider in the glaring final rays of that Sept. 05 day.

This is the feeling ot the Great Lakes Fall.

October 9 2005, 2:21 PM

You can feel the door closing on the summer and the night approaching. The mood too some may seam ominious or spooky but to a Great Lakes surfer it is the merriment of harvest time:

The beautiful end of a September Fall day of surfing in 2005.

The end of the show on this thread. To be a Great Lakes surfer is to become one with the natural environment. It is leaving nothing behind but our footpronts in the sand and snow. It is living actively outside. Cheers brothers and sisters always!

Nice going

M.

That is one of the coolest Lakes photo series I have seen. Nice work.

What kind of camera? How quickly can you take two pics in a row. Mine is real slow.

Ain't it weird that way camera make steep stuff look unsteep.

Finally, uh..what are you harvesting over there in the North East USA Great Lakes?

Nice work Magilla. I too, am interested as to what kind of camera you were using. Were you on your board when taking the pictures? If so, how did you avoid getting pounded in the impact zone? It was great to see the pictures and the great conditions b/c I didnt make it out that day. Thanks for sharing.
