I found something that works just as well..UV Glazing & Spot Bondo comes in a red and white squeeze tube, you can get it at canadian tire or any other auto repair centre. ( maybe even walmart) Not sure.

Repair

Some random repair notes:

- Sun Cure stuff gets mixed reviews.

- I still believe that an old fashion polyester repair is the best, but I need 70+ air temps for that so I have to do temporary repairs until the summer.

Temporary repair options:

- Clear 3M tape. Works really well for me. It was suggested by a surf shop owner. For extra assurance, I can optionally fill the concern area with superglue

- Epoxy resin repair kits from a boat supply. You can epoxy onto polyester but not vice versa. From my experience it will cure in colder weather. It is much harder to sand. You can leave it, or in the summer sand it out to do a polyester resin repair.

NOT

- I was told that duct tape leaks. I learned the hard way that this is true.

Polyester resin notes:

- So far, boat supply stores have been a convenient source of resins and catalyst. I google to find a close place.

- I have had lesser results with car and boat resin, so I always buy a small amount polyester resin from a coastal supplier and have it shipped. The stuff has a shelf life, but I really don't know what the length of time is or how to tell when the stuff is dead.

- I learned the hard way to buy my catalyst from a local boat supply shop for a few bucks. If you have catalyst shipped the hazardous material fee can run near $30 for a tiny $4 tube of the stuff.

- Remember you will need a warm area for the polyester resin to cure. 70 degrees will cure and 90 degrees will cure faster. The stuff really stinks all during the curing time that can last a day or so, so I would never consider using the inside of a home for this.

i live in cambridge springs. i started surfing with a friend who lives in Buxton NC. i'm still learning but have the fever in a bad way. over the summer i picked up a lightly used BLUE mini-mal 7'6". would like to meet some locals who don't mind helping a newbie out.
