Sebastian, do you know the big above-ground swimming pool(s) at the end of Lakeshore just before it veers north to intersect with Queen? The beach right there is Ashbridge's Bay. It's a deep beach with lots of sand. That's why the waves look smaller from the road or parking areas.
Here's a map...
A ver si nos vemos. Yo a lo mejor llego por la tarde, como a las cinco.
I'll be there...i was there yesterday where do you guys park? I'm pretty paro about getting my car towed I couldnt understand a lot of the signs around there...
hey guys theres no problem with parking,,theres a free car park just at the lights at a-bay,,then u can walk down the beach
so what time in the mornin u guys thinkin?,,,i gotta leave there by 12:00 to head to work,,so ill be up 4 the mornin session,,,,hey rob wouldnt it b sweet if we got it like saturday?,,,,woooo!!! that was a sweet session,,kk c u guys there in the mornin
There's parking all along the street in front of the lake where it shows Pantry Park on the map. Don't know the name of that street but you go up to Queen, turn right and make your first right on Kippendavie, then go to the end of Kippendavie and turn left, park anywhere along that street and walk to the beach.
A-Bay on Saturday was very good. Sorry to Magilla for the Bridge call but A-Bay wasn't looking good in the morning, that's why we went to Rockpile. When we were heading to the Bridge for 3pm we got the call from Rob and Marston about the glassy perfection at A-Bay. Vlad, myself, Buck, Al and Sauce hit it from about 4pm onwards and it was one of the best days I've ever experienced there. Vlad and I surfed past dark because the tennis court lights were lighting up the point.
I checked out A-bay this afternoon, it was starting to build. I might check it out again but with gear as I won't be able to make it again until tomrrow around 5pm. I'm hoping it'll hold up 'til then.
For those of you doing DP tomorrow, have a great session!
updated near shore forecast for eastern lake ontario. northeast winds 35 knots on tuesday morning.... waves building 2 to 3 meters... yeah baby!! i'll try to sneak out of the office earlier to catch an afternoon sesh.
Had 3-4' glass conditions this evening. Got there @ 5:30 and surfed for just over an hour. Could have been good all late afternoon??? Can't wait for tomorrow.
I saw you out there, Bill. I hope you had a great session. I got there at almost 6:30 but I didn't go in afterall. I walked from the west point to the the east point by the tennis courts then I had to split.
