Mike I haven't looked at the ice sites in a while but I assume that you are seeing it farther west already. These cold temperatures and the shallowness of the western section of Lake Erie usually give the shallowest lake the distinction of first reception of ice cover.

Tyler I saw some of the latest photographs but I was on a closing out wave on the shot that I have seen. Our guy is building up a catalog of shots and eventually I think that you, myself and the world will see them.
