This shot taken just north of Asbury Park NJ at app. 11am. Surprisingly good with waist to chest high sets, clean with offshore winds. My friend Greg just got a new Nikon housing and was testing it out from the jetty just south of where I'm riding this wave. I'm squinting pretty hard due to the bright sunshine. Should have worn the old sunscreen out there. Hope you scored surf for the contest up on Erie!

Thanks for the eye candy? I could get cavities looking at images like those. How is your water temperature in New Jersey. We are into the fourties in Lake Erie and the air was 29 degrees today. The wind temperature was colder and there was about two inches of snow on the ground. The sand is solid now.

Hey Ryan:

December 10 2005, 5:59 PM

Ryan is there a shop you can hook me up with down there that sells 7 mm oven mit gloves. I don't want anything O'Neill. If you could please furnish me with an online shop name that ships or a telephone number. The hands look like lobster skin from todays session. Time to invest in better equipement fast.

Hey Magilla,

Water is like high 40s: hood is still optional at this point. I'll look into online shops near here. I think Brave New World Surfshop in Pt. Pleasant has an online store.

Hey Magilla,
You may want to try Wetsand.com too. I've used them before and they've been pretty reliable thus far.
