Yeah it's bad, initially, but let's face it......Clark Foam was not the most eco-friendly blank manufacturer on the market, just the most prevalent. It's like the Stock Market.....a healthy correctional shockwave is good every once in a while; Not that I'm a stockbroker or own any stocks!
In the long-term, this will be good for the industry. Do not fear, unless you need a board immediately, which you may pay a little bit more than what you would normally pay.
I'm sure some surfshops are price-gouging just like gas-stations would. Be selective and loyal to a shop/shaper and you'll probably catch a break.
