Anybody able to ice report on Ontario's Huron shoreline?? Mana swell forecast for saturday, it would be some nice if there were spots without ice.

There is heaps of this sea ice formation info on http://ice-glaces.ec.gc.ca/app/WsvPrdCanQry.cfm?CanID=11080&Lang=eng but I guess these graphs can carry a certain degree of inaccuracy.

maybe inverhuron or macgregor point, although 12 foot on huron isn't qualitatively better than 9 foot on erie, which appears to be ice free.

At christmas the southampton area was iced at least 100 feet out.

fkn-A! Coata Freakin' this weekend! Huron is wide open (confirmed by phone call to locals) and the south half is going off ten plus!! ummm I'll hit that.... I hope my kung fu is up to snuff!

Yup, definitely pretty clear. I went by the pier (Kincardine) yesterday and theres only a little bit of ice from the shore maybe out 10 ft, if that. Other than that pretty clear... If anyone's coming up tomorrow though, watch the drive up...calling for snow squalls...can make for a miserable drive up sometimes!! Hope you guys get out! Have fun !
