Just a cool, kick-ass tribute to a fellow East Coast
surfer. Never knew him, but have surfed VB a few times on
the way to and from Hatteras and trips to Williamsburg
growing up with the fam, and visting my wife (than a girfriend at William & Mary).
I'm sick as a dog right now, but watching a video tribute like this just gets me amped to get on the next swell (this afternoon/Sunday am south swell).

Has anybody experienced that surfing can actually cure a head/chest cold? Maybe it's a mind over body thing? Paddling out through strong winter-whitewater is my prescription for loosening up congestion, although the medical community may beg to differ?

Anyway, here's the link

A prayer for him and his family.

Chicken soup, fluids, bed rest is what works best for a cold. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. Cold water in a weakened condition will feel colder and put more stress on your body when it is fighting off disease. Rest is best.
