January 16 2006, 10:21 AM

Hey, so did anyone make it to Huron on the weekend? I was stuck at work on Sat and was able to see the pier all day from there (big windows! )..Not that I know much about it yet, but it looked half decent from what I could see! Didnt see anyone out there, but sucked being stuck at work seeing that all day!

XC ski club tract holds wierd big wave

January 16 2006, 1:01 PM

Hey yeah, I went, got to point farms mid afternoon, came to kincardine at dusk. It looked fun but too late and cold to surf again so I went to Shipwreck lee's, warmed up with cuban black bean soup. that place feeds ya good- you been yet?

It was wierd out on saturday... all summery and yet so cold. I went to a semi-private spot just north of kincardine, found a wave offshore that broke perpendicular? to the shore break and twice the size, very nice. The CA is managed by a local ski club, costs $3 donation to enter and when there's snow on the ground you are not permitted to use the trails at this spot unless you're xc skiing.
