In the bunker right now but tomorrow Kona Kong is unchained.

If you see some old geezer, hoobling down the beach, tomorrow morning with an airplane wing under his arm it will be a Great Lakes surfer having the time of his life. It can be a competition, one or two others, ten others, or fifty more, or just myself and I will still be smiling if there is waves.

Also it is warming up for two days.

i was heart broken yesterday to find beautiful peelers at presque isle crashing into a 15 foot high frozen rampart running as far as the eye could see. being optimistic, i climbed to the top to get a closer look only to find sofa sized ice floaters residing all the way out to the break. i have the sinking feeling that i may be done till i go to buxton over easter.
In the words of Bob Dylan-
"lonesome comes up as down goes the day, and tomorrow morning seems so far away."
Snowboarding for now

bacteria in our water must be keeping it from freezing over, there was no sign of ice or slush in the water yesterday, but the water was damn cold

It was very, very small and mushy. Drat.

A big storm is on the way. Howling winds for the east end.
