Neal Luoma showed me some shots from Surfer's Point on his property, last week and the ice wasn't clogging up the shore. I was going to post that photograph but now I'm not so sure that it remains clear. The temperatures across the Great Lakes have been below freezing and the N.O.A.A. temperature chart shows the lake temperature all across Lake Erie are below freezing.
I look at the ice maps and see lots of shore ice. These maps can be inaccurate sometimes. My feeling is that it has been VERY cold here for days on end and the water is below freezing.
