Yeah, I think Sebastian, Tyler, and Vlad are good candidates for such training. I keep trying to get Bill into a short board but he's afraid. Every time I say 6'6" or smaller he starts whining... "but Rob I may have to paddle with more than my finger tips". Maybe you can talk him into it. Hell, he wrecked your old board maybe now you can give him some pointers.

hetzel flips

If ya had the right drop-in or were getting pitched over, you could turn a do a front flip 3 aka the hetzel flip. like doing a shoulder roll over the handlebars but with an indy grab. the proper rotation would end naturally in a frontside bottom turn. Not that I am capable of this on a surfboard, but it's easy on snow.
