So it blows 18-26 km S, SW for about 14 hours straight, so I figure it's worth the drive to Bluffers beach. I would've gone to A-Bay first, but didn't have my gear at work.
Throw the gear & board in the car, head down and to my amazement, there's not a ripple on the water. Flat as glass.
Skunked again! Of course by this time's it's 7 pm and not worth the drive to A-Bay.
Sure it was a bit of a stretch with the temp being warm and the water cold, but I figured it was worth the risk. Hey, I was jonsin' for some surf. Oh well, I wait for yet another day.
Rob D. was there anything happening at A-Bay today?
