I just recently purcahsed a board to surf the lakes on and I have a couple of questions regarding wetsuits. This is what I was thinking of using.

Spring (now)

4/3 Suit
5 mm boots
5mm gloves

Summer/Early Fall

3/2 Suit(currently have)
3mm boots

Late Fall/Winter

6/5/4 Suit
7mm boots
7mm gloves

So, needless to say I'm thinking of grabbing a 4/3 to use right now.

Any advice??

Hey Mike,

It all depends what Lake you're surfing on and the current water temps.
For Lake Erie you usually only need a rashie and board shorts for the summer but for Lake Ontario you might want a shorty 2mm for the summer.
For Lake Superior, you'll probably need a full suit year round.

A 4/3mm is a good start though.
