These were taken just a few miles north of Belmar at 5pm this evening. Winds had just gone offshore for a bit; back onshore I think now. Didn't have time to surf this afternoon, but managed to take some shots of how good it got on some of the sets. Hopefully I will catch some of it in the AM before work.





Magilla, to answer your question, all Canadian beer is good....Molson, LeBatts, etc..
Sandy Hook is about 15 minute drive north of here, 20-25 minutes from Belmar. Hopefully we'll grab a session.

I won't be able to surf a lot after Thursday because I will be running the competition Friday-Sunday.

We should be in Belmar by noon Thursday. I bet you'll be working. I have an ESA meeting before the competition on Thursday. We are coming down the Jersey turnpike from the north below the apple probably in the morning. My spy gave me your cell.

I work Thursday until 3:30pm, and then at 7pm I have to be back at school to help out at the Chorus Concert, and then bolt up the turnpike to pick up the parents returning from Cabo. Could probably grab a session in after 3:30pm if you're interested. It will be about mid-tide going into high tide (which occurs around 7pm or so). My cell again is 908-433-9144. You bringing Kona Kong down? I have some old school longboards for you to ride if you need one while you're down. Have a safe trip down amigo.

Just got out of the water an hour ago. The swell has dropped, but there were some fun waist to stomach to occasional almost chest hitting the sandbar at the beach I usually surf at. A little mushy, but lining up and fun on a funshape. I wore a 3/2, 3mill booties, and no gloves and was fine. Considering the wind should be east all weekend I don't see the water dropping in temps in the near future. Bring the 3/2 and 4/3 if you got em, 3 mill booties, and some gloves in case you want to pull a long session.
