Bridge...

I jsut got back from the bridge...waves were pretty good out there....


I have some questions though....

When i was out there it was really hard for me to catch some waves...

I am a beginner, but the thing is that I wasn't having trouble balancing...its jsut that as soon as i stood up the board would sink pretty far down making it really hard for me to stay standing up...i'm about 5'8" and my boards 6'3"....

Anyone have any sugesstions?

Do i need a longer board?

its the board mate...a beginner on a 6'3 is like a t ball player trying to hit a major league fastball especially on the lakes where the waves have very little power..

Thanks alot man....i was thinking sumin about the buoyany of the board..i remember when i got it Jeff told me it might not be great for the lakes...


anyways...got any idea where i can get a longerboard (beginner board) used for 200$ absoulute MAX?
