Roof Racks

If your looking for a hard rack I have a Thule that I'd sell for a good price. You'd need to by a "fit kit" for it to accommodate your car. The fit kit is around $80 and is what makes the rack fit snugly into the gunnels of your car. The roof rack I'd sell for $150. It has two mountain bike carriers as well.

Board sports has soft racks if that's what you're looking for. The difference between hard vs. soft is that you can carry way more stuff on the roof of your car with a hard system, eg. boards on one side and bags on the other and all strapping would be on the outside of the vehicle, soft rack strapping goes throught the doors and hangs on the inside of the car. One of the negatives with the strapping on the inside is that if it's raining the straps get soaked on the outside, then on the inside and then start dripping inside the car.

If you want a new hard rack system the best place to look is Rack Attack on Laird Drive in Toronto.

Email me @ blugroup@sympatico.ca if you're interested.
