If anyone is heading to Huron tomorrow from the GTA and wants to split on gas and has room for an extra board and passenger, let me know I'd love to go. Looks like mid to late afternoon is going to be the best so far. Same goes for Saturday, if there's surf I'd be willing to chip in for gas.
Hey steve, do u mind if i hitch a ride with you on saturday? i'll pitch in for gas of course. i'm scarborough . thanks a boatload!
PS: i have a bodyboard so i wont take too much space

Where's a good spot to go on a North? Not sure if I can make it, but I'm thinking about it. It's a 4 hour drive to Kettle Point for me so I'm a little paranoid about getting skunked.
I may either be around Kincardine Fri afternoon or up around Sauble camping Fri night & Sat am... If anyone is up around either place Friday or Sat, let me know..!
Has anyone ever gone out up around Tobermory? I'm going to be up there this weekend at some point and was wondering if it was worth bringing my board? Well depending on the conditions that is!
Near tobermory the shore is very rocky your better off on manitoulin island (you can take the ferry from tobermory). With a south south east swell you can surf manitoulin, Theres all kinds of breaks along the south shore of the island, completly deserted.

I'll be heading up from windsor, and the wave forecasts look best at the south end of the lake. Any suggestions on where should be good would be appreciated.
We made a stop at Ipperwash on the way back from Kitstock last weekend to take advantage of Sunday's north west winds - it seems as if the muddy "sludge" is worse this year - I'd recommend either Bayfield or Kicardine Piers - water was kinda nasty at Ipperwash.
