It's looking like this system will develop further over the Bahamas and make it's way northward towards the Georgia coast. Models are showing 4-7ft surf Monday into Tuesday here in NJ. Winds could be a factor.

Hopefully it will all come together for a few hours like it did for Alberto.

Water continues to fluctuate from 2/1mill to barebackable, depending on the wind and upwelling. Overall there has been waist high background swell for the past 6 nights at mid to low tide. Nobody's complaining around here. Flat spells are not that uncommon this time of year.

Too bad it's not arriving Sunday or I'd be tempted to drive down.

plenty of small fun waist-almost chest high waves (surfed the Belmar contest area yesterday afternoon that had a little more punch to it), but all eyes on this disturbance over the Bahamas. The WAM is also showing something midweek out in the mid-atlantic that could give us ESE swell. I have off till July 5, so if anybody's in the area and wants to surf I should be around.

Mysto wave.

This was a 6 inch wave breaking INSIDE the harbor at Sodus. The waves were reflecting off the jetties and rebounding into the harbor onto this shallow sand bar.

Hey Thanks for posting those Bob. We're getting slammed with an endless conveyer belt of T-Storms. Already had to unplug the computer multiple times due to lightning. Suppose to be like this all week here. Probably a decent amount of runoff into the ocean from this, which will blow.
