Light to moderate SW winds for Wednesday, improving a tad by Thursday. Veers to a stronger WSW or W by Friday morning with gusty NW possible amid Friday evening showers.
SW pressure gradients gradually improve through Wednesday and Thursday. The next low pressure system deepens to the north, with a developing cold front due to arrive through Friday afternoon or into Friday night.
Wednesday:
Southwesterly pressure gradients gradually become better established across the Great Lakes on Wednesday. A relatively slow start, but by midday SW winds strengthen into the low to spotty mid teens. Strongest potential for mid to late afternoon for Huron sites, with Lake Erie not too far behind. may still be a little unreliable for Toronto sites.
Thursday:
Stronger and more consistent SW flow through Thursday afternoon. Lakes Erie and Ontario faring a little better by this time.Builds into the mid to upper teens, with low twenties possible into Crystal.
Friday:
A veer to WSW and possibly W, as the cold front to the west develops and sweeps in. Builds to upper teens and low twenties on the cards if this system behaves as model solutions predict. May see late day showers and thunderstorms generating messy conditions locally.
