Buffalo, New York looks like it was hit by a hurricane.

No electricity, no lights. computer, nada except the telephone and the hot water at Fargo.

Ryan White from New Jersey stayed two nights in time warp land and was officially inducted into the Wyldewood Surf Club yesterday riding head high, knarly surf, in 70 m.p.h. wind at Wyldewood Beach. Bill Uliki and company showed up later in the day.

Today Mr. White was introduceed to head high and much better surf at Area 51. The tree, wrapped in power lines was cleared off the road last night.


He said it was worth it. He endured over eight hours in grid lock on the New York Thruway just outside of Buffalo.
This morning he met Don Harrison.
