We had a great turnout for the Bill Lemmons Memorial contest in Whiting Indiana, just south of Chicago. We also had great surf in howling offshore winds at the Horseshoe Casino beach. I'll try and post some shots here, if I can.
We ran two, six man heats of Open Longboard and Open Shortboard and a six man final in each. Points will be awarded after breaking out all the competitors into their age divisions. We also allowed a couple of non-members to compete and are currently encouraging them to join the ESA.
Remember to renew or join before the end of the year to help send more of our team to the Regionals, which will be in New Hampshire in May, 2007.
