Same old story. The H-Bay shots were taken pre-session, the waves ended up building to at least 8 ft on the bigger sets, if not more. There were even some spitting barrel spottings. For once, The Weather Network's forecast trumped the NOAA.

Rain, hail, snow. Saw some big deer. Steve caught some big ones. Multiple fun rides. Good to venture out to two classic breaks for the first time.

If it's any solace Magilla, this was only my second session in 4 months. The longer the break, the better each subsequent wave feels.

Adam there will be more and better days.

Yesterday was better at Area 51 from the report I got today. Thanks for posting some visuals. We haven't had that in a while here. My wife and I have been so busy lately there is no time for us to post shots.

This is going to be one of those 12 months of surfing years. There are going to be some beautiful days of surfing in the coming months. I'll be there in spirit and maybe sometimes on the beach.

Cheers.
