My barometer has gone down one millibar since last evening. There is an intense low heading this way. I can't wait to see how much the gauge drops over the weekend. In the blizzard of 1977 the barometric drop was extreme. The snow that blew into Buffalo came off the lake like a fury gone insane.

West of Lake Michigan there is a storm heading eastward with very tightly packed isobars. High wind switch coming this weekend.

It's the weekend of the winter wave carnival.

Sorry when I originally posted this I misread the gauge. I'm up to speed now.

The frozen water removal marathon goes onward. No blizzard like conditions on the West Side of Buffalo but about aa foot high of the white rain.

At 1719 hours it read 29.00 millibars. Snow and more snow.

Shovling and more shovling. I think I have been at it at my neighbors and at our house today for approximately six hours. The driveway again is covered in snow. I'm waiting till dawn to hit it again.

At 2007 hours 29.01 millibars.

The indicator points to the rain side of the gauge which of coarse means snow when the current temperature is 24 degrees F.
