Out there in cold space the eye sees cracks,
some open water and winter ice on Lake Erie.
Lets hope the warm rain today will stimulate
more melt as we head for Spring on Thursday.
60% of the lake is still covered in ice and
in some spots it is thick.

Belated Happy Saint Paricks Day to all Irish surfers.
Recently Ireland had fifty foot waves.
There were Atlantic beaches on the European coast
with waves as high as Sunset. Peace and a raised Guinness.

looks like rock point is almost ready to go.....
should be out there next week to see how it looks....

I'm feeling a draft.
It's a long drive out there
to Duke's. The time to go is
when you hear the wind in the
yard as loud as a feral cat in
the darkest night.

Out there is a place that we
named Dukes west of P.M.
If you have a longboard and
all the elements are in proper
allignment than you go. This is
how you play the Jersey coast.

Mind you that in the late sixties
we went on blind faith to N.J.
and both times got ankle bitters.
It was biter to drive all that way
but fortunately both times when we
returned to Port Colborne the waves
and the rides gave us some consolation.
