Open for Bizz.

The "Canadain Transport" was stuck in thick ice for more than a day before gaining access to the Ashtabula Harbor with the help of an icebreaker. Soon with the help of warm southerly rains and winds the lake ice will be gone.

Lake Erie didn't have a long freeze.

In January I was thinking that Lake Erie would go through the rest of the winter without ice. Once that arctic air came sweeping down we went into forget about it mode.

Neal I wonder what the determing factor is for lake freightors to go out again? There are some big and wide cracks in the ice. Here on the east end there is a lot more ice.

I missed some head high east coast and Lake Ontario surf in February.
We'll be sitting out there soon again. We're due.
