ESA Northeast Regional Championships:


May 2-4, 2008
Montauk, NY

350 surfers from New England, New York, New Jersey and the Great Lakes will vie for coveted invitations to the 2008 Eastern Surfing Championships (The Easterns) and the USA Surfing Championships.

The Adult events will be concluded Friday, or sometime Saturday. The Adult Awards will take place at the Contestants' Banquet Saturday evening. There will also be a raffle held at the Banquet for product donated by various sponsors and supporters. The Youth Awards will take place Sunday following the conclusion of the Finals, weather permitting. Should weather be inclement, Youth Awards will be held at a sheltered location to be finalized.

We're sorry to lose Burton Hathaway from the team but he took a rock to the knee at Lester River in Duluth this month.


Get well soon Burton. I did my left knee on top of a roof of a house on fire.

Looking forward to it! Unsettled, cool weather forecasted for mid week, with the jet stream dipping south. Should hopefully kick up some swell by the end of the week?
