This NBC Today Show story about surfing in Lake Michigan is very good reporting without a lot of the tired cliches.

Ryan Gerard, Jim Hoop, local surfers and New Buffalo Surf Shop get some national fame today. Vince Deur footage puts the proverbial icing on the cake.
