Unsalted and Vince Deur was there for us when we fought to save surfing at The Bridge in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
The ESA Great Lakes District thanks Vince Deur for his iconic and benchmark film about the lakes we surf in. The images are crisp like the snow crunching on the beach in January and beautiful like an over head wave in November. The pros and Great Lakes surfers in this movie are proud and greatful to have been part of this ground breaking film project.
Once upon a time in the Great Lakes there were only distant stickman shots of something on the horizon and today there is an exquisite motion picture called Unsalted that is forever part of the history of surfing.
