Budda to the Pope talk about the environment:

Ashoka was an ancient war lord of India. The day after his last conqust he wept at seeing what he had done to the world. He converted to Buddism and set up stone columns across India that said basically protect people, animals, and the environment. Today the Roman Catholic Pope spoke about protecting the environment of this planet.

All that is part of creation is sacred. In 2009 may this planet move more toward fairness and protection of all life on this planet.
