There are several good Westchester historians who have had their work available but the friendliest and most accessible by far is Arthur Bradley Fowler. There is only one on facebook with that name and it's him (his profile pic has him holding a fish) and from my dealings with him he is very knowledgable and has a warm friendly personality. He either has a book about Playa Del Rey or Westchester ready to go and if you treat him with the respect he deserves it should be a real Pandora's Box.
